Hello! My name is Joel Hauck, I focus on graphic design and photography. I'm based in Poland, near Warsaw.
I have been freelancing since 2012 by creating visual content for various media outlets and clients.
2018–2022 I was teaching Adobe CC programs and photography at Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology, in Warsaw.

About
In my visual work I like to mix mediums and combine new techniques with a traditional approach. I also enjoy to experiment and explore geometric shapes and compositions – while having a technical style. I'm a big fan of vector graphics and text formatting.
In photography I use both digital and film formats. My main subjects are: interiors, architecture, spaces, landscapes & nature observations. I also know the essentials of light modelling.

I'm sharing some useful materials and websites with information predominantly about design. I sometimes check them as a guide in my work. Some are simply worth sharing because of their creative approach or the message/inspiration they carry.

Besides my creative practice, I try to live by a stoic philosophy. I like to spend my free time being surrounded by trees, water and nature. It's where I draw the most inspirations from and recharge for new challenges.
