FUJIFILM VELVIA EXPIRED

Experimental

During January 2019 I shot a roll of positive film Fuji Velvia, ISO 50, expired from 1999. I didn't know what to expect so I took the pictures like with any other normal film and exposed with the help of my built-in light meter. Then I had it developed in a lab and to my suprise the film stripe was almost completely faded and pale.

But after some proper scanning in high resolution (many thanks to Jan Daciuk!) it turned out that I was possible to save a few interesting pictures. I worked in Lightroom and experimented a lot with colors, although white balance settings were the most crucial to bring back every picture and control the quality of its tones.
